This website was created as a sharing place for Lane Davies/SB fans. It’s strictly a hobby and it’s meant only for fun, hence the word ‘playhouse’
in the title. It’s sort of a huge online scrapbook for all to see, and to work on if so desired. Please feel welcomed to contribute or just browse. All

Starring in the half-hour comedy for cable television, ‘Dixie Melodie’

This accomplished actor's television Series includes Good & Evil, Mommies,
Woops!, and The Crew, and he was extremely popular in the recurring role as
Tempus on Lois & Clark - The New Adventures of Superman. Lane had
several other recurring parts on various television shows, as well as over 50
guest appearances. Most consider his signature role to be that as the original
Mason Capwell on the daytime drama, Santa Barbara. Lane has directed,
produced and starred in numerous stage productions, and is a driving force for
two theater companies. He's active in teaching and humanitarian work using his
talent in the arts as a means to help make the world a better place.
